This Is Our Story
We are Avi and Sigal.
Our story began with love — love for each other, for good food, wine, open landscapes, long conversations, and meeting new people.
We left behind the noise of everyday life in search of something simpler: quiet mornings, breathtaking views, sunsets, wine, and meaningful moments.
That journey led us to our farm in Portugal, a peaceful green oasis south of the Douro Valley near the Paiva River, just over an hour from Porto.
Here, days end slowly—with a glass of wine in hand, beautiful food on the table, and guests who often leave as friends.
Avi is both a chef and an experienced tour guide. His passion is connecting people with the landscapes, wines and culinary traditions of Northern Portugal while creating memorable meals inspired by both local ingredients and international flavors.
Sigal is a literary scholar and published poet. Her love of storytelling, conversation and genuine human connection brings warmth and depth to every experience we host.
Together, we believe that the best memories are created around a table, on scenic roads, and through authentic encounters with people and places.

Our Douro Valley day tours include pickup and return to Porto, making your experience seamless from beginning to end.
2/ How many guests can join?
Our experiences are designed for small groups to ensure a personal and relaxed atmosphere. Most day tours welcome up to 8 guests, while dinners at our farm accommodate up to 10 guests. If you're planning a larger gathering, we can occasionally host groups of up to 15 people—please get in touch with us to discuss your request.
3/ Can dietary requirements be accommodated?
Absolutely. We are happy to adapt our menus for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other dietary requirements whenever possible. Please let us know your preferences when making your booking.
4/ Is transportation included?
Transportation to and from Porto is included in our Douro Valley day tours. For our farm dinner experience, round-trip transportation can be arranged for an additional fee.
