This Is Our Story
We are Avi and Sigal.
We came to Portugal out of a love for a simpler kind of life: good food, wine, open landscapes, long conversations, and interesting people.
Our farm is in a quiet green corner near the Paiva River, south of the Douro Valley, just over an hour from Porto.
Here, we welcome guests around an open table, with joyful food, local wine, views, stories, and plenty of time to breathe.
Avi is a chef and an experienced tour guide, who knows Northern Portugal through its roads, wineries, markets, and local cuisine.
Sigal is a literary scholar and poet, bringing to every gathering her love of stories, conversation, and genuine human connection.
For us, a good trip or a good meal is not just about a place or a dish - it is a moment that stays with you.
